Van Zutven Group has been named the winner of the Brabant Water Innovation Award 2024.
This recognition highlights the important role the company plays in the production of calcite seeding material for the Dutch water sector.
What began as an exploration in 2010 has since grown into a successful collaboration between various parties within the water sector.
Thanks to this joint effort, the transition to circular calcite has been made possible – a significant step towards a more sustainable future.
AquaMinerals played a crucial role in this shift towards circular calcite. The calcite is not only applied 100% circularly by drinking water companies but, after further processing by Van Zutven Group, also finds its way into a range of new applications. During the celebratory opening, there was also a preview of more promising projects on the horizon.
Brabant Water’s awarding of this prize is a recognition of the work achieved with many partners, including AquaMinerals.
It marks an important milestone in the development of circular calcite and underscores the value of collaboration for a future-proof water sector.
