Starting in April 2017, AquaMinerals will hold the quality management system certificate NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015, valid for the next three years.
Naturally our organisation has been ISO 9001 certified for many years, on the basis of the previously applicable ISO 9001:2008 standard. The system was primarily prescriptive in nature, and emphasised procedures and a mandatory quality manual.
The new ISO 9001, 2015 version, focuses more on the organisation and the environment within which it operates. What added value does the company provide, who are the stakeholders, and where do the specific risks lie? The new ISO 9001 standard also demands more involvement on the part of management in the quality management system. The new version therefore constitutes an integral component of the drive for sustainability and improved performance across the board.
